The Technology

One Shell.
No Framing.

Two materials become one monolithic composite — SABSCRETE cementitious coating over precision-cut EPS foam panels. Extraordinary strength, minimal weight.

Factory-cut 8′ × 4′ panels form walls, floors, and roof with utility chases built in. No framing. No sheathing. No extra specialists.

SABSCRETE

2,000PSI

Proprietary cementitious coating applied monolithically — engineered via FEA to exceed structural codes. The load-bearing heart of the system.

EPS Foam Core

R-100

Precision-cut expanded polystyrene — structure, insulation, and formwork in one. 94% air, non-toxic, with utility chases built in.

Exterior Finish

Accepts any standard cladding — stucco, stone veneer, brick. Impervious to wind-driven rain with minimal maintenance.

Interior Finish

Standard drywall, plaster, or direct paint. Indistinguishable from conventional construction — with zero cavity walls behind it.

8+Years of testing
$4MR&D investment

Performance

Built for the Worst Day.

A monolithic composite that outperforms conventional framing under every extreme condition — hurricane, earthquake, fire, moisture.

≤ 25FSI

UL Fire Rated

Flame-spread index ≤ 25, smoke-developed ≤ 450. SABSCRETE acts as a continuous fire barrier — no exposed combustibles.

0

Single Points of Failure

The monolithic shell distributes seismic loads across the entire surface area. No joints. No concentrated stress. No weak links.

100%

Sealed Envelope

Continuous vapor barrier with no wall cavity — eliminating the conditions that cause rot, mold, and pest intrusion in wood framing.

Sustainability

Exceptional Insulation

R-75 to R-100 total insulation — when insulation is the structure, there's no cavity, no thermal bridging, and no compromise. The energy savings aren't a feature — they're inherent.

By eliminating lumber from the structural envelope, SABS removes one of construction's largest sources of deforestation — while producing a building that demands less energy for its entire lifespan.

The Vision

“To make safe, quality housing affordable and accessible enough to help eliminate homelessness — and to reduce reliance on lumber to mitigate environmental damage from deforestation.”
Dr. Nasser Saebi — Founder & Inventor of SABS

Dr. Nasser Saebi

Founder & Inventor of SABS

A structural engineer from Tehran who immigrated to the U.S. in 1960, Dr. Saebi conceived the SABS concept during his doctoral studies — inspired by the tortoise shell's marriage of hard exterior and resilient core. After decades of engineering work including Persian Gulf oil rig design, he dedicated his career to proving and certifying this vision.
